Back to Market. Off Grid Living Festival. 6 - 7 April 2024

Peak Oil Company has said goodbye to Mount Dandenong, and moved to Eldorado in Northern Victoria, Australia - Bpangerang Country. I’m sewing up a bunch of products to display at the Off Grid Living Festival on 6-7 April 2024, followed by online sales directly after the festival, and a permanent display in Eldorado shortly after. The next production period will be May-July.

See you at Off Grid Living Festival

The deadline for the current production period is the Off Grid Living Festival on 6-7 April 2024. I’ll be displaying a collection of anoraks, sheepskin vests, wool coats and pants, waxed canvas over pants and range of bags. I’m also getting together a range of retail products including Artisan’s Son fabric wax and hemp/cotton under garments.

Off Grid Living Festival is an inspiring event, where families, speakers, teachers, producers and retailers all get together around the broad range of interests associated with trying to live more independently from the current economic stratification. In previous years I’ve seen hardcore bush crafters teaching people fire making and hide tanning, backyard mechanics showing people how to make diesel from waste engine oil, local farmers networking, hempcrete demonstrations, giant geodesic domes and high tech energy systems. I feel right at home popping up Peak Oil Company at Off Grid Living Festival, and I’m looking forward to having a physical presence to meet with potential customers and collaborators.

Online sales to resume

Directly after the Off Grid Living Festival, the website will list all products for online sales to resume 10 April 2024.

At the same time, I plan to open the studio as a display store, and remain open for the duration of the next production period (May - July - more news to follow).
