Wool pants are getting hard to find, even harder if you’re wise enough to want high rise. Wool pants are an extremely valuable garment in cold climates, easily as important as a wool coat.
After a few years researching, designing, prototyping and testing, I have finally settled on this design. Using a mid weight 400GSM Melton wool, they have plenty of leg room, high rise crotch, bias cut, wide waist band, built-in hip and ankle clasping and a deep fly opening.
They are designed for maximum comfort, secure fit and freedom of movement. Two large hand pockets and one phone pocket. Waxed canvas reinforces the waist band, pocket openings and leg cuffs.
If your waist is not larger than 110cm (42 inches), and not smaller than 79cm (31 inches), this batch of wool pants will be adjusted to fit you. After you place your order, I will contact you to check your waist and leg measurements based on the instructions on the video, before I finish your pants to your measurements.
Please note. The blue in this batch is a flannel wool, not a melton like the other pants. This means they are soft and warm, but less weather resistant than melton. I would expect a little pilling in the first few wears too, but easy enough to brush off until it settles in. This is the last pair of blue too. Will fit a 100-110cm waist (39-43'). Available on the website.
