Anorak kickstarter completed

It's done! All anoraks, bags and care packs have been sent, except for 3 people I'm waiting to hear back from about their address details. I've recorded the tracking numbers, so if in a few weeks time you still haven't received anything, or a notification in your email on delivery status, please contact me.

The last of the deliveries, in the back of the 60, on their way to the post office

Thank you everyone for trusting us with your pledge, and for your patience and understanding through the delays. We've received good feedback on the deliveries that have made it through so far, with some photos to show.

If you use social media, please use the tag #mypeakoil. This will add your photos, videos, reviews into a pool that will be judged for the best, with the winner receiving the next Peak Oil Company product free.

What is the next product? Well, I'm now working on the wool coat and liner to the anorak, as well as a pair of waxed canvas over pants. The sheepskin vest has been designed and sampled, but I'm having trouble finding a factory willing and able to take on the make. Handling sheepskin in a textiles factory is problematic. The cutting is messy and very labor intensive. Hopefully we'll find one soon, or I might take it on myself..

We're in discussions about another run on the anorak too, and that campaign might even be as early as April this year, for delivery in November! So if you know anyone who missed out and wants another chance, let them know it could be soon.

For now, I'm taking the kids canoeing.

Heading out of Lake William Hovell
